After being with research and development at a major engineering corporation, YOSHIKAWA became a patent attorney and established the Yoshikawa
International Patent Office in 1988. After establishing the Office, with his
experience in an extremely broad range of fields centered on his field of
expertise of organic chemistry including polymers, synthetic, and catalytic
chemistry and ranging to medicine, biochemistry, inorganic chemistry
(materials for glass, cement, metals, etc.), and fibers, etc. YOSHIKAWA
has handled numerous cases for domestic major pharmaceutical companies
and fiber manufacturers.

applications for patents, utility models, and designs, intermediate processing such as rejection appeals, various trials, cancellation suits of various trials, consultation with clients in relation to various applications, consulting of such as application strategies, infringement litigation, and patent searches, etc. She has handled numerous cases especially with patents and trademarks related to biotechnology, and boasts good reputation of being well trusted by clients.

Although ICHIKAWA’s field of expertise, as mentioned above, is biotechnology and biology, she is currently capable of corresponding to an extremely broad range of fields including biotechnology, biology, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, polymers, daily necessities, food products, and others.
